My event pricing is sliding scale between 70-120 for each 4x5 image & the experience of this beautiful historic process. High resolution scans are available for an additional 10.
My next tintype pop-ups will be in Baltimore, MD alongside Pentax Jane on October 25 at Wyman Park, and October 26 at Ottobar. Costumes are encouraged! We will have a variety of props for you to utilize if you wish.
Though the historic process may not take the full duration to complete your image, each slot is 30 minutes long to ensure time to compose, develop and fix your portrait. You are encouraged to take photos and videos of the process and your plate during your appointment (and please feel free to send them my way!)
Please ensure you are on time! If you are more than 10 minutes late for your scheduled appointment, you will be forfeiting your slot, and must rebook for a later time if available.
Following the market, tintypes are taken back to my home darkroom to dry and varnish to preserve your image for years to come. They will be shipped or delivered back to you the week following the events.
Tintypes at the Plymouth Punk Rock Market
Missed me for on the Halloween Market? Here’s your chance to book your very own tintype experience for the next Punk Rock Market on November 30th from 12-5pm at the Kingston Mall. Please note, for this indoor market, I will be predominantly using a Speedotron flash system. Weather-permitting, I may be able to accommodate outdoor natural light if you are sensitive to flash. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
