April showers have brought the May flowers 💐 and the May flowers have me eager to create outside!
This coming week and beyond, there is so much to look forward to:
MONDAY 5/25 at @osamequinfarm I'll be taking tintypes, soaking up the sun and enjoying the tunes at the MayFire Sessions with @thegoodneighbours.events 🔥
FRIDAY 5/29 I still have a few openings for natural light tintype portraits at the beautiful @wild.heart.herb.house 🌿 I can't wait to create at the ivy-covered cottage and surrounding gardens!
NEXT MONTH 6/19 have your tintype portraits taken at @abbrewery 🍻 I hope this will be the first venture of many out to western MA this coming year!
And as always, the option exists to book a private film or tintype session either at my woodsy home or at your favorite park or place!

Settling back into being home (...sort of... I say this on my way to the airport for what is now a poorly-timed trip to Ireland), and missing our sweet friends down south who saved the days during our most recent and catastrophic van misadventure. We encountered so much kindness on the road, and Sarah & Eli were no exception to this, offering a safe place to stay while our van went into the shop in Asheville (where it is still to this day, awaiting finding a head gasket replacement).
No matter how much chaos reared it's head these past few months, I'm endlessly grateful for all the support we received, and the sweet folks we met along the way 💛
It's bound to be a beautiful May in MA! Join us Friday, May 29th from 12-5 to have your natural light tintype portrait taken at the cozy and serene @wild.heart.herb.house in New Bedford 🌿 I'm looking forward to immersing myself in the ivy and botanical beauties surrounding the apothecary; it's going to be a really lovely place to make some portraits!
Each tintype is hand-coated, sensitized, composed, developed and fixed using the historic wet plate collodion process from the 1800s. Following the event, tintypes will be available for local pickup or shipping a few days later after they are thoroughly washed, dried and varnished to preserve for a lifetime.

~May 29th I'll be taking natural light tintypes at @wild.heart.herb.house in New Bedford 🌿 this is a really beautiful and cozy place, and I can't wait to create there! Sign ups will be coming soon!
Just a few favorites from our time here in Asheville 💛 thank you from my whole heart to all the friends who have been helping us make the best of bad luck while our van has been stuck in purgatory these past couple weeks. While this road trip has not entirely been for the faint of heart, it's given us so much gratitude and eternal appreciation for the kindness of others, and we will never take that for granted.
There's still a couple more opportunities to get your natural light tintype taken this weekend before we head back north! While we are entirely excited to be going back home, we will enjoy our time to the fullest TODAY at @hailmaryavl 11-7, and TOMORROW at @fleetwoodsavl for the @ashevillepunkflea 12-5 ✨
California friends! I'm so honored to have a few pieces exhibiting in LA this coming week ✨ it feels astonishing to have my works displayed alongside artists I've admired for so long.

The journey so far 🧡✨ I am truly grateful for these times shared with people I love. Starting our travels with @standhandinhand, ringing in the New Year and taking the first tintypes of the trip with @pentaxjane, seeing sweet family down south, meeting new friends along the way and making memories that'll last a lifetime.

This was the final image from what will likely be my last season of darkroom classes in Boston. While I've been enjoying the access once a week to a functioning darkroom and a knowledgeable teacher, I've been working on finishing my own basement darkroom that will grant me the ability to dive deeper into printing without a time limit.
✨THIS WEEKEND✨ I'll be releasing some one of a kind darkroom prints to help fund the finishing touches for my darkroom and also our 2026 travels across the country from January-March: back to the desert and beyond 🚐🏜️⛰️ stay tuned!
