Just a few favorites from our time here in Asheville 💛 thank you from my whole heart to all the friends who have been helping us make the best of bad luck while our van has been stuck in purgatory these past couple weeks. While this road trip has not entirely been for the faint of heart, it's given us so much gratitude and eternal appreciation for the kindness of others, and we will never take that for granted.
There's still a couple more opportunities to get your natural light tintype taken this weekend before we head back north! While we are entirely excited to be going back home, we will enjoy our time to the fullest TODAY at @hailmaryavl 11-7, and TOMORROW at @fleetwoodsavl for the @ashevillepunkflea 12-5 ✨
I've got good news and I've got bad news...the bad news is our poor van is stuck in the shop for another weekend with engine work 🚐💔 the good news is that I'll be popping up for another couple events here in Asheville! It's felt deeply discouraging to now be experiencing another problem on the road, this time with our starter. 3 days was all it took after we picked Len up in Arizona following his transmission rebuild to be stuck again, this time in Colorado. As we limp our way back home, and as the unexpected expenses pile up, I'd love to offer another mystery print sale.
Regular 8x10 prints are sliding scale 35-50
Dark room 8x10 prints are sliding scale 60-100
After we get back home at the end of March, **Massachusetts only/travel to me** 4x5 tintype portraits are sliding scale 100-150 (message me to schedule a day in April or beyond)

The journey so far 🧡✨ I am truly grateful for these times shared with people I love. Starting our travels with @standhandinhand, ringing in the New Year and taking the first tintypes of the trip with @pentaxjane, seeing sweet family down south, meeting new friends along the way and making memories that'll last a lifetime.

This was the final image from what will likely be my last season of darkroom classes in Boston. While I've been enjoying the access once a week to a functioning darkroom and a knowledgeable teacher, I've been working on finishing my own basement darkroom that will grant me the ability to dive deeper into printing without a time limit.
✨THIS WEEKEND✨ I'll be releasing some one of a kind darkroom prints to help fund the finishing touches for my darkroom and also our 2026 travels across the country from January-March: back to the desert and beyond 🚐🏜️⛰️ stay tuned!
